Our Mission

Our mission is to raise funds to support the care, treatment and expenses of individuals battling Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and to support the expenses and care of families of such individuals. To raise funds to support organizations who support and conduct ALS research.

WE ARE SHIFSTRONG

Brian Shifrin fought his ALS battle for 2.5 years with strength, peace, humor and Billy Joel. He was a staple to his family, friends, community and the reason why we are SHIFSTRONG. ALS robbed him at the young age of 43. He was an amazing son, husband, father, brother, coach, lawyer and friend. At the start of 2019 the disease really started to progress in his body and the need for a caregiver was apparent. SHIFRUNS was created by his sister, Pam Shifrin, in hopes to create ALS awareness and raise money to help with his care. Pam was so humbled by the support, raising thousands of dollars, that she vowed to continue SHIFRUNS in his memory.
